I SMELL a series victory incoming! Our squad will go 85-77 to IMPROVE from last season's FLUKE of an under .500 finish.
Jordan Alexander Walker, BOOYAKA ! In the bottom of the fourth inning, the 22-year-old from Stone Mountain, Georgia gets the offense rolling by DEMOLISHING a bomb to left field, driving in Iván Aaron Herrera. Look out, Interstate drivers!
I HAVE CHILLS UP AND DOWN MY SPINE after that bottom of the seventh inning. First, co-Most Valuable Player of the League Paul Edward Goldschmidt, the 37-year-old from Wilmington, Delaware, has a SLICK move, bringing in UNDISPUTED Rookie of the Year Award winner Masyn Blaze Winn! Then, TRUE catcher Iván Aaron Herrera, the 24-year-old from Panama City, Panama, OBLITERATES a ball to left center field, seneding Goldy and co-MVP Nolan James Arenado to the plate.
Folks, CHEER YOUR HEARTS OUT for Miles Tice Mikolas, the 36-year-old from Jupiter, Florida! LIZARD KING was like the TEMPERATURES outside; absolutely SCORCHING with FOUR big strikeouts. A SALUTE goes to Andrew Michael Kittredge, Joseph Abel "Jojo" Romero, Matthew Joseph Liberatore and Ryan Dalton Helsley, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the JAW-DROPPING defense!

I thought Jordan Walker for Cards was a pretty big guy as he walked through the dugout. The online stats on hin show him to be 6'6".

Disappointing loss…..came oh so close to rallying and tie the game late but couldn't come up with an important clutch hit with RISP.; even though, early the game, the news that the Giants beat 2nd place royals in KC 9-0…. ¡Felicitaciones a los Cleveland Guardians 2024 por ganar el Campeonato de la División Central de la Liga Americana! 😃🥰⚾⚾⚾💥🎉
