Chicago Blackhawks Anthem Singer to Sing at UND Albrecht Field Opening | Midco Sports | 9/21/2024
He’s sung in NFL and NHL stadiums, as well as the Ryder Cup and Indy 500, but on Saturday Jim Cornelison is taking his talents to Grand Forks for the grand opening of Albrecht Field for UND Softball.
The opportunity came about from Dave and Alexa Albrecht. The Illinois natives reached out to Johnny Vincent and when he wasn’t available asked Jim. Cornelison embraced the opportunity to come to Grand Forks for the first time and to check out this brand new, state-of-the-art softball facility.
