  1. Bryce Young was the problem.

Kudos to this team. It’s been a long time but this is the change we needed.

Maybe Bryce can improve over time under Dalton’s wing, but fuck the media for parroting the notion that the team was the problem, not him.

  2. It feels like years since I’ve seen the team vibe like this. A complete football game in all aspects. Have to give credit to the coaching staff, specifically Canales for making a tough change. What a huge difference that made. Big win, on the road, after a big media firestorm. Hoping this trend continues. In Dalton we trust. Keep pounding!

  3. The single most enjoyable Panthers game I have watched…. in… I genuinely can’t name you the timeframe. It’s been that long.

  4. 親愛的 Bryce Young

  5. I know most of the talk is going to be about Dalton, rightfully so, he turned the whole team around this week

But genuine shoutouts to Hubbard and Johnson they played their asses off

  6. While I knew Bryce was doing awful and holding the team back. I didn’t expect THIS much of a gap.

Even if it’s a 1 game honeymoon type thing, that’s just insane.

This comes from a Texans fan who did want Bryce for the same reason everyone else did. It seems like I tilted too hard the other way in disregarding physical limitations. Like yes I know Bryce wasn’t as athletic as some other short guys, I just discounted the gap a lot.

Watson when we drafted him had questions of velocity on throws, and then you have all the short guys who succeeded.

  7. I hope the fans who wanted to keep starting Bryce solely for the purpose of tanking can now see the value of having Dalton play.

We can now effectively evaluate our recent draft picks like Legette and Mingo. We can evaluate if Hubbard is really an RB1. We can evaluate if our O-Line is legit. We can evaluate if any of our TEs are worth keeping around. We can evaluate if recent acquisitions like Diontae were the right moves. We can also see what our defense can do when they are not constantly gassed. And perhaps most importantly, we can evaluate our coaches now. With Bryce at the helm, we really had no clue what the rest of the team had to offer.

If Dalton ends up running out of steam and Bryce ends up getting reps again later in the season, fine. At least we know what we’re working with now.

  8. It won’t happen, but man the national media deserves to eat crow after bashing everyone but Bryce all week. Obvious from the opening drive he was the problem.

  9. I’m now convinced, the narrative the nfl media pushed so hard this week was not from hating but from fear.

  10. To be honest, I expected Andy to light it up because I know how bad Bryce has been.

What I did not expect is for the run defense to show up the way it did. Big shout out to Evero for getting his guys ready to go. They slacked up in garbage time, but they were a huge part of helping us control the game today.

  11. So happy for Canales. Total team effort and the players really rallied behind Andy Dalton. Bryce honestly is going to be a distraction moving forward.

  12. Dalton is a panthers hall of famer for this game. Just for giving us the feeling of greatness again. It was perfect everyone did great.

  13. I would cordially like to invite every fan, hater and talking head who shit on us for benching Bryce this week to eat my entire ass.

  14. Imagine being the Bengals and having to play the most electrifying offense in the league in that super hostile
Charlotte stadium!!! Good gawd they don’t stand a chance… we winning out!

  15. Lets all remember- the media last week KILLED us- said our organization was trash- QBs come here to die- and some (Shady McCoy, etc..) said the only reason Bryce was benched was racism. LOL

  16. Dave Canales was brought in to revive the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers. They never said which quarterback he was supposed to revive.

  17. One of the game balls needs to go to Canales, dude showed me something this week. Handled the situation like a boss and backed it up with a hungry team playing good football. Optimistic on him
