This Day in Kings’ History (2005): Adam Deadmarsh announces his retirement


On September 22, 2005, Kings forward Adam Deadmarsh officially announced his retirement after nine NHL seasons. In three seasons with the Kings, Deadmarsh scored 46 goals and 85 points in 114 regular season games, and had 10 points in 17 playoff games.

  2. Deadmarsh was a certified Redwings killer. I was sitting right behind the net when he scored the series clincher in 2001.

  3. 💔 I so wish that Deader was able to be in the Lombardi era Kings.  He’s definitely my favorite short-lived King ever.  He was a total culture shock for the team that badly needed it.  You’re amazing Adam, I hope your health is treating you well!
