On June 27th, 2014, during the 2014 Entry Draft, he was traded to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Patric Hörnqvist and Nick Spaling.
Liam Foudy was drafted 18th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2018. He played 12 games for the Preds, tallying 3 assists. He signed a one-year, two-way contract with the New York Islanders on July 10th of this year.
