Big boy time
Mendoza does not answer questions poorly. I am so glad he has the exeprience he obtained in the Bronx, because it’s helped him navigate the NY media.
Mets were very fortunate that he hadn’t been snatched up yet by another team when he interviewed.
Edwin Diaz has a 3.35 ERA and 1.00 WHIP on the season
You can spot the new fans because of the pants shitting they do when they see a manager managing to win games down the stretch the first time. Being surprised by short hooks in key spots. Stretching out the best arms. Stuff like that. Mendy’s doing awesome. No one I’d rather have leading this team right now.
