It was Marner and some no name leafs defenseman not that impressive considering they didn’t even show up to the game cause they’re a bunch of bums
He made Marner look like a pylon in overtime!
He only made one great move on a context where it's perfect for prospect to show up
The last time I seen these moves was Jason Spezza, incredible, Yakemchuk keeps this up, he'll make the team in the heart beat
Watching the leafs lose is always fun
As a sens fan, we're excited for sure, but the general concencus among sens fans is that another year or two for him to cook is the best thing for him. If he makes the main squad, he'll be playing on the 3rd D line, and what he needs is ice time to really become the player he's projected to be. I'd love to be wrong and have him on the main squad, but i really don't think he'll get the amount of ice time he needs to develop properly at the NHL level.
We need a Leafs Sens playoff series
Not surprised, if Chicago picks Sennecke at #2 the Duck would have picked Yakemchuk at #3.
Power play is set for the year in Ottawa, dominate jr and go win a world juniors in Ottawa.
surprising pick? big skilled offensive RHD with sky high potential dont just grow on trees
6'3 and over 200 lbs at 18, has a nasty side, he can skate and put up numbers. He could be a fantastic pick.
#22 McCabe. …. but it was just a preseason game.
Proving me wrong, again
I'm excited
Yakemchuck will surprise a lot of people. Don't sleep on this guy!
The only people that hated on the pick were habs fans… Who else would say a 30 goal 6'3 RHD was a bad pick? I mean I get habs fans are slow but everyone else had Yakemchuk in that range
He’s nasty. These prospect list’s change so quickly. It wasn’t much of a stretch at 7 imo
