Sources: #Lions Pro Bowl and All-Pro center Frank Ragnow suffered a partially torn pec, making him week-to-week. A brutal reality for one of the NFL’s toughest players, who injured it very early in the game. But the belief is it’s not season-ending and he could be back soon.

Butchers row of injuries to start the year…

  1. Well I guess the early bye everyone complained about (myself included) couldn’t have come at a better time

  2. What a brutal game. We have won on the scoreboard but injuries have weakened this team. Thank goodness for the early bye, although I would not expect Frank back for at least 3-4 weeks with that injury

  3. Dude…. What is with this team and getting a Mystery Injury that we heard absolutely nothing about … and then they’re just out for the season/ multiple weeks???

  4. Textbook Ragnow that he’d not only finish the game but play the best he has so far this season lol

  5. Can we get a priest to come to the Lions Practice and bless each player. Individually.

Get all the priests from different religions to do it.

  6. Something tells me he’s going to miss like 2 weeks and be back. But irregardless this majorly sucks. Davenport, Barnes, Alim, LaPorta and now Ragnow – fire the whole Arizona stadium into the sun. Garbage field.

  7. Idk why but I have a feeling knowing Frank he’s 50/50 for Mon and 100% for Dallas.

Didn’t the dude not miss a single game when he broke his freaking throat lol

  8. He’ll probably be back for the Dallas game but the real concern is it turns into a bigger tear at some point

  9. Pretty brutal. I’m not even sure we are a playoff team without him lol. Hopefully he can take these 2 weeks and the bye and be okay, but who knows.

  10. I’m sure Glasgow can play center in the interim. It’s not an ideal situation but I don’t think it’s the end of the world. Still sucks we’re so banged up so early.

  11. I way happy when the game ended simply because of injuries, and today we found about more injuries we didn’t even know about 😐

  12. He played practically the whole game with a partially torn pec? Oh my gosh.

I’m guessing Glasgow will slide over to center and then one of Awosika, Niese or Sorsdal will get the start at guard.
