  1. Welp. Wanted a steak dinner tonight but the boys served us ramen noodles cooked in leftover hotdog water. Hunter Brown gets a pass.

  2. This team is currently absolute cheeks, and AJ Hinch is salivating at the thought of getting to play us or the Mariners in the first round.

  3. We have a surplus of strong starting pitching, and a huge deficit in middle relief pitching.

This is not a complicated equation, guys.

  4. Opponent has a heavily taxed bullpen? Better give their pitcher lots of single digit pitch innings! Brilliant approach!

Edit to add evidence to what my eyes have been telling me for years: We are dead last in pitches per plate appearance, and it is not even remotely close. https://imgur.com/a/pTpPEn4

The difference between us and the 29th team is the same difference as the 29th team is from the league average.

  5. Mariners pitching has this offenses number. They haven’t scored more than five runs against the Mariners the whole year…

  6. Down one in the seventh inning of a game that would be REALLY nice to win and we send out… Caleb Ferguson. Okay

  7. That was a big game not only for the clinch but for tie breaker purposes and we came out as flat as possible. Hunter deserved much better

  8. We desperately need new hitting coaches next season. I’m so so tired of our hitting approach.

  9. That Angels loss yesterday looms large if we cannot manage to win at least one against the Mariners.

  10. I blame the guy who said he hopes Astros lose today so he can see us clinch tomorrow. Maybe offense will wake the fuck up tomorrow for Framber.

  11. Mariners only delay the inevitable. Their fans deserve to have their hopes built up and pulled from under them.

  12. This is basically our playoffs. We can’t let it go to game 3, if we don’t win tmr we likely won’t make it at all

  13. The only reason why I’m not in full panic mode is that a) Miller has always done very well against us, and b) we have two more tries.

If we lose tomorrow, then I’ll start to panic.

  14. 0 runs other than a heyward bomb is abysmal, i feel bad for all the fans that paid money to watch that game

  15. Just need one, Mariners are a caged animal, they are gonna throw EVERYTHING at the Astros. Just. Win. One. Don’t care how

  16. The way the strike zone changed seemed pretty wild from inning to inning, that being said their dude looked pretty dang good. Guys really need to step it the fuck up for tomorrow.

  17. I’m know everyone is shitting on the pitching, but remember when Bryce Miller struck out Pena with two RISP using three balls and a borderline strike?

  18. Good news: no major injury for Yordan, just a knee sprain

Bad news: Yordan will not be playing during the Mariners series. Possible he plays against Cleveland.

  19. Frustrating loss. That’s the Astros this year. I don’t blame Espada; I blame the offense. Let’s get it done tomorrow. Give the Mariners hope and take it away. I like the sound of that.

  20. Everyone: The Astros can clinch the AL West while wearing their Space City uniforms for the last time!

    The Astros: lol nah

  21. Is it too late to start playing another CF? Meyers gotta ride the pine, his bat sinks the bottom of our lineup.

  22. Ok honest question. If we did manage to get swept this series and somehow the M’s win 5 out of 6, is the WC still in play for us? I don’t see it happening but I thought about it earlier today.

  23. I watched the mariners broadcast of the game and they were talking about our aggressive approach and Altuve swinging at first pitches.
