  1. Fiske reminds me of Gaines, but with a lot more upside

He seems like he can generate pressure, but it generally goes unnoticed in games. If he polishes it up, he can be a big-time playmaker

  2. If both these guys work out this might have been the most masterclass of a draft I’ve ever seen. Karty, Corum, Whittington and Limmer all in the same draft too.

We’re very lucky to have Les Snead and his scouting team. It speaks leaps and bounds to the mentality of Les and his team that Brad Holmes does to Detroit and IMMEDIATELY they start drafting late round gems.

  3. The skill and talent is there. They just need to adjust to nfl speed and def need to watch more film on QB tendencies to generate more sack

  4. We made the right choice by grabbing those guys, now let’s watch them get better as they get experience!

  5. Les absolutely cooks in the draft when it comes to defensive players. Now if only he would parlay that success to a corner!

  6. I wanted Latu because he was local and his tape was pretty insane with how varied his pass rush arsenal was.

Verse has been exactly what we needed so far though. Getting pressures like Latu while being far more of a difference maker in run defense. And his partnership with Fiske is as advertised. Love it

  7. I’m really excited about this dfront. They are pretty much all rookie/year2 and are making huge strides with every passing game

  8. At first glance, it really looks exciting, but it doesn’t mean anything if you’re not equating the number of pressures to the number of defensive snaps per rookie. I don’t know who the other rookies are, but are they getting as many snaps as ours guys?
