  1. I live in Denver now and always get tickets to the Cardinals games here for me and the family and friends. Never been less interested in a cardinals Rockies game and can’t give them away. Sigh.

  2. At this point I’m watching baseball solely because I know in a week I won’t be able to anymore. I know I’m not alone in this. Oh, and McGreevy’s pitching tonight!

  3. I wonder what the Cardinal’s plan on doing with Luken Baker? I know a rightie is going for Colorado tonight, but Luken didn’t hit all of those 33HRs in AAA off of lefties.

They didn’t give him many ABs last September and they’re not giving him many this year either.

When he does get an AB it’s usually off the bench late in the game against the other team’s closer.

It just seems like another guy they’ve set up to fail.

I don’t think Mo wants him to succeed. There’s an entry in Moe’s laptop that says Lukens not a Major League player. Moe doesn’t want to trade him or release him because some other team might pick him up and there’s a chance he might hit 25 homers with another team next year. And if he did that well, that would make Mo look bad.

  4. [Rockies](/r/ColoradoRockies) Due Up **(Bottom 1):**

    1. Charlie Blackmon
    2. Ezequiel Tovar
    3. Brenton Doyle
