What are you expecting/wanting to see from Vince Williams Jr. this season?
September 25, 2024
I’m personally really excited to see this guy flourish. I feel like he can handle any defensive role we throw at him, Brooks’ defense was missed at first but I feel like we found a gem with Vince. I hope he does well and I’m wishing the best for him this season!

50pt quadruple doubles every half
Absolute dog
I’m thrilled if he can score 10 with active defense and low TO
Early rotation bench guy who keeps the momentum and defensive energy
Same jack of all trades stuff with fantastic defense we saw last year in a more defined role.
My reach of a take is that he could be a 6moty candidate
A terminal case of dawninem I’m afraid
I expect him to do it to them.
Starting 5 by postseason
Not db level defense but capable of primary matchups
Low usage but quality 3pt shooter
Play solid defense, hit some threes, and be a slashing threat to the rim. That’s literally all we need out of him
At least 35% from 3 (last year 37.8%) on at least 5 attempts per 36 (last year 5.2).
If he can keep that up, there is no reason for him to ever be off the floor. We all know he is locked in on defense, plays hard, and is good in transition or as a secondary ball handler.
Starter.
If he can see some offensive success without thinking he’s now one of the main options (like Brooks often did), that’ll be good too.
