Thank god we finished the job yesterday so we can give our players as much rest as possible and set up our starters for success. Only question now is Yordans knee. I am not a religious man but I will pray to any god if it means that young man’s knee will magically heal in time for the wildcard round.
The pressure is off, the meaningfulness of the game is decreased, but do we have a chance to drive in the final nail in the Mariner’s coffin and eliminate them from the WC?
The best part about clinching, is being able to watch four games of stress free baseball (at least until October comes around).
