Will this affect the Braves when we go there? Will this affect the Royals flying in?
There's a flood watch in Atlanta area from 2 p.m. Wednesday till 2 p.m. Friday. Not ideal weather for baseball. 100 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Wednesday, 100 percent chance of rain Thursday, 88 percent chance of rain Friday, according to The Weather Channel app.

Maybe to both. A powerful hurricane is expected to hit the Gulf coast of Florida then, which is where all the rain and flooding will come from. I don’t know that it’s anything to worry about though. MLB will adjust as necessary. If that means postponing games or having the Royals fly in another time, they’ll do that.
They think most of the rain will be cleared up by midafternoon Friday, if not a little earlier. I just hope the field is in okay shape after all the rain they’re supposed to get.
As for flights, I’m not sure how early teams usually get to town before a series. Early Friday morning might be worrisome but if it’s late morning, I think they’ll be fine.
Maybe I’m underplaying it but the coast will definitely get the worst of it, and it’ll taper off quite a bit by the time Helene hits the ATL.
Chiefs just won in ATL, they left some good vibes there for the Royals baby!!!
Going to the game on Saturday. I really hope it doesn’t rain then.
