Guarantee the Rays still wouldn’t get those calls if they were the ones trying to get back into the playoffs after years of futility.
This is why Iād love to have the challenge system currently used in minor leagues vs full on robot ump. Most umps do a great job calling balls/strikes which keeps getting tougher with how much movement pitchers can get. But the challenge system takes a few seconds to eliminate those few mistakes that can bigly impact a game

Id love to see a list of which teams are on the most wrong end of bad calls.
I know losing is rough but this is not a bad score. Only 6 missed calls over a full 9 is pretty good considering you can’t ask umps to be perfect.
