Would anyone else prefer to play from the 6 seed here as opposed to the 5?

  1. I want the Orioles. Would love for KC to just fully crush their city in both baseball and football.

  2. I don’t want to face Houston or Cleveland.

We have shown we can beat the Yankees or even Baltimore.

  3. Don’t care as long as someone destroys the Yankees and the Dodgers. Don’t think this Royals team is ready for it unless vinnie comes back on a mission

  4. I feel like a short series against Houston in their stupidly tiny ballpark is the worst option for KC. Baltimore is very good and won’t be easy by any means, but I like the odds there better than at Houston.

  5. Stop this! We should just beat anyone we can. Getting cute, even if only in your mind, invites disaster.

  6. The Astros are like the Chiefs (except the Chiefs don’t cheat). They might not be scary in the regular season but they know how to rev it up in the playoffs.

    Give me Baltimore.

  7. I don’t know, they have to make it first. That seven game losing streak made it a lot harder. We need two more wins and two twins losses to clinch. Or else it’s going down to the wire.

Even winning one game against the tigers would have helped.

  8. I’ll take whatever we can get but I I’d rather play Baltimore in a proper stadium. Not pinball in Houston.

  9. I just want us to make the playoffs lol. And if we want to win another World Series, gotta beat the best.

  10. I think we have better odds vs Houston/Cleveland combo instead of Orioles/Yankees. But who knows. The playoffs are extremely random.

  11. I’m a Royals fan in Michigan. Part of me wants them in the 6 seed because if they make it past the Wildcard they’ll play the Guardians. My Aunt & Uncle live in Cleveland 15 minutes from the Guardians stadium and they have given me an open invitation to come visit and see a game. I’m contemplating getting a ticket to one of the ALDS games there regardless of who the Guardians play but would love if the stars align for it to be Guardians v Royals.

That said, The Astros tend to do really well in the postseason and I don’t have much confidence we’d make it through the Wildcard if we play them.

Edit: Just realized that the Guardians & Yankees spots aren’t set in stone (in regards to what side of ALDS they’ll be). I’d still prefer playing the Orioles over the Astros in the wild card. And I’m still contemplating getting a ticket to the ALDS in Cleveland. If the stars align for it to be Guardians v Royals, that would be even better!

  12. I’d take Baltimore over Houston any day. Baltimore has no momentum rn while the Asterisks**** are just now hitting their stride. Tell Yuli to bring a trash can…
