Hoping we can clinch on Friday and then we rest Skubal.

Makes sense, I’d honestly rather be the 6 seed than the 5 seed and play Houston rather than Baltimore for the 3rd time in 3 weeks.
It makes no sense to start Skubal if we are clinched. But you still have to manage the lineup and bullpen to win the game. Subbing guys like normal and everything. We have a good thing going and getting out of that for rest could be more harmful than beneficial imo.
