Interesting game. Being that that was Vancouvers second game and Calgarys fifth that Calgary had a bit of a advantage in play and they beat some good teams. Which surprised me. Good plays mixed with mistakes. Woo has been a surprise to me. The goalie looked a little sloppy in the first and improved as the game went on. I thought Calgary would come out a little rough and chippy. A good test..

The reporter who asked about the vets just floating through the preseason actually had it right and I thought the top returning guys just did bare minimum….until they were needed ! Then they poured it on like a switch was flicked and the Canucks took over.
