I don’t even need to click on the article, I stopped at ‘Jon Heyman’.
Guess Ill respond anyway. Why in the world would the fucking Mets want an aging 3rd baseman? It’s stupid on so many fronts. The first being we already have Vientos. The second is because we need SP and possibly to keep Alonso or Soto.
Jon Heyman can go fuck himself. He’s not a reporter, he’s a mouthpiece for agents.
The consolation prize after the Jays lock down Soto, I hope.
If the Yankees are not able to sign Soto, this could be an option. But it would not be a popular one.
