The last time we won a full season championship with full capacity was at the Oakland Coliseum. As a dodger fan and a baseball fan at heart, how incredibly sad to see how an owner treated a team, treated a ballpark, treated a whole city of fans. My first and last team at the coliseum was last Friday. Yes the stadium needed major renovations, but somehow it felt incredible to be there. The coziness of the stadium, the way the fans interacted with their team, despite leaving in less than a week. I couldn’t imagine seeing the dodgers leave Los Angeles. I can’t imagine how we as fans would react to never coming back to Dodger Stadium.
Salute to the fans of the OAKLAND Athletics. RIP the OAKLAND Coliseum

Also the first ever home run hit at the coliseum was by Dodger Broadcaster Rick Monday
Oakland fans are usually cool and they have a ton of awesome players. Neither party deserves what the owner is doing. Absolutely shameful.
Man, I saw that. I’m not even an A’s fan and I got sad. Tough to be an overall Oakland fan
HAIL THE VICTORIOUS DEAD!
Fuck John Fischer
88 team – last team to have any grit and huevos.
It’s a damn shame what shitty/greedy sports team owners can do and get away with
This week I heard garbage Philly s owner abandoned a mansion here and is being a squadder paradise. Brewers owner stealing Sand from the beach with construction equipment. And this owner letting a city down
