I remember this feeling…when 80 wins was a big deal

Some serious work needs to be done. Very disenchanted with Henry right now. They used to spend and act like a big market team.

  1. The Red Sox are LOADED with talent in their farm system. Roman Anthony looks like he’s gonna be a freak, Marcelo Mayer is well on track despite injury setbacks, and Teel is about ready as a catcher despite not being 27 years old.

What the Red Sox really need in pitching. They have basically NO pitching talent in the pipeline AT ALL.

If the Red Sox do not get aggressive with trying to acquire relatively young pitchers with upside this off-season, I’m gonna be pissed. But their farm system is sufficiently loaded with young players with star potential that I don’t see a reason to freak out if they don’t go looking to make a position player splash at the winter meetings.

  2. Perhaps we could focus on our defense and pitching this offseason instead of worrying about the motor sports or the soccer clubs. Sell this team if you don’t care anymore

  3. All things considered, it was a better season than most thought it would be from the end of last season…

Six aren’t in last place, came close to making the playoffs by the skin of a front tooth and missed it by that much, and there’s hope for the future if all things fall into place and R-side hitting is improved and a couple of SPs are found…

Fame is the place to look for it all IMO…
