Not pictured above are Greg de Vries: 1999, Rich Brennan: 2002, Steve Dubinsky: 2002, and Brett Hauer: 2002.

Greg de Vries will be covered on Day 7.

Rich Brennan was drafted 46th overall by the Quebec Nordiques in 1991. He played 4 games for Nashville.

Steve Dubinsky was drafted 226th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1990. He would play 26 games for Nashville, scoring 5 goals and 2 assists.

Brett Hauer was drafted 71st overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 1989. He played 3 games for the Preds.

Oleg Petrov was covered on Day 20.

Jon Sim was drafted 70th overall by the Dallas Stars in 1996. He played 4 games for Nashville, scoring a goal.

Jordin Tootoo was covered on Day 22.

Ramzi Abid was drafted 28th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in 1998, and was drafted 85th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2000 upon re-entry. He played 13 games for the Preds, scoring a goal and 5 assists.

Radek Bonk was drafted 3rd overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1994. He played 145 games for Nashville, scoring 23 goals and 31 assists. His son, Oliver Bonk, was drafted 22nd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023.

Dustin Boyd was 98th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2004. He would play 18 games for the Preds, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists.

Mattias Ekholm was drafted 102nd overall by the Nashville Predators in 2009. Despite being drafted in the 4th Round, Ekholm would gain a starting role in 2013 – 2014 and never looked back. On September 19th, 2017, Ekholm would be named an Alternate Captain alongside Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg. During his 12 years with the team, he played in 719 games, scoring 62 goals and 206 assists for a total of 268 points and a +104. Even more impressive is that 79% of his points were at even strength. On February 28th, 2023, with the team firmly sitting in the mushy middle and making not making any progress, Ekholm would be traded with a 2023 6th round pick to the Edmonton Oilers for Tyson Barrie and Reid Schaefer, a 2023 1st round pick, and a 2024 4th round pick. He is still currently playing with the Oilers and the combination with Evan Bouchard has made them one of the most dangerous pairings in the NHL. I'll share this hilarious gem from last season as well:

Gustav Nyquist was drafted 121st overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 2008. This past season, at the age of 34, Nyquist would shatter his personal records for assists (52) and points (75) in a season. He is still with the team and hopefully continues to shine with the new additions to the team.
