  1. At least instead of being in a shit mood on a Monday we get to be in a shit mood on a Friday.

Then the emptiness of no game on Sunday

I mean, I know we’re bad, I joke about it, but I still feel let down

  2. Woohoo another loss to the cowboys, maybe Mara will sell the team at some point and the team can stop being the laughing stock of the league. Automatic loss in Seattle next week too

  3. While I don’t think Jones played bad at all I cant help but remember Eli’s game winning drives. We shouldn’t settle guys.

  4. The fact we lost this game was an embarrassments the way Dallas scored their tds and got a 60 yard field goal. This team should be ashamed and DJ was one of our best performers.

  5. Defense was a tough watch too. It was great seeing our guys on the d line that should be making plays MAKE PLAYS! Our corner situation is abhorrent tho Banks is not fit to be a #1 in the slightest. It also baffles me why they play him with 8 yards of cushion… if can’t recall one time so far this season that this has resulted in an incompletion.

  6. Giants have 26 yards on 24 carries, get very little pass rush, can’t stop the run when they need to, and some pussy ass play calling in the redzone

This sub – ITS DANIEL JONES FAULT!!!

I know Jones’ long ball is non existent right now but he executed some.good passes today. He got absolutely no help when needed with all these dropped passes and zero running game.

  7. Offense: Jones played fine this game but obviously wasn’t enough to not lose. If we have a QB who can be accurate downfield, we swap out at least 2 FGs for TDs and win.

Nabers is a stud but the WR group as a whole need to catch the damn ball. TEs are nonexistent but this seems to be a league wide trend.

Pass blocking held up but the run blocking didn’t do the job against an apparently porous run defense.

Defense: As a whole we need to get stops, get better at tackling, and hope for a turnover.

Burns and Kayvon continue to be disappointing. DBs cant cover if the QB has too much time to throw and we can’t get to the passer if we can’t keep guys covered.

Bowen needs to figure something out to get stops.

Special teams: Joseph did what he needed to do. I wish some of those FGs were extra points instead but it is what it is.

Special teams as a whole were unimpressive outside of that one punt return.

Overall: I’m not overly upset about that loss. It was so winnable which stings, but we were competitive. I think we’re more solid than we appear but need to step up. On to Seattle boys. I’ll be there for the game.

  8. Shannon and Ocho are making good callouts that DJ was very efficient, but the two plays he needed to make he couldn’t. We had a chance. We need to capitalize on 5 trips to the red zone.

  9. The way I’m looking at it, this roster will be a good situation for our new QB to come in and develop into. A solid O line, good WR group, and pass rush to keep us in games. Our draft should go Qb and then shit ton of corners rounds 2-4

  10. It’s unreal how much better the o-line is at protecting the passer but how unbelievably horrible they are now at creating lanes for a runner. Madness.

  11. This franchise really does feel different from everyone else in the NFL. There’s bad teams losing because they’re bad, and then there’s being straight up ALLERGIC to winning. This team will always make the wrong call. Always give up the crucial play. Always drop the clutch 4th down. I feel INSANE

  12. At this point, thus team has gotta just go through the motions. Play out the season, keep Daboll next year, draft a QB, keep Nabers and O line healthy, continue to improve defense, sign another RB FA in the off season. Run it again next year.

  13. Every year since 2017, start 2-7, start winning games once eliminated from playoff contention to screw up draft pick. Rinse and repeat. This year will be no different

  14. Kinda feel the same way as after the Washington game. Super winnable but just didn’t do enough, and at least they didnt embarrase themselves (unlike the refs, unforgivable mistake there)

I’m used to this team being a fuck ton worse so still enough for hope since they should at least be competitive in the upcoming games.

  15. Wandale Robinson dropped 2 balls on 3rd down that would have been 1st downs.

He also ran a route about a yard short and tried to spin out of the tackle on a 3rd down.

Then he literally whiffed on the deep pass the CB made a bad play on and probably could have walked in to the end zone.

But then he also had 10+ catches so wtf was that game?

  16. Dallas had zero fear of getting beat over the top. They stacked the box the entire game, daring DJ to throw long. He can’t. That’s also why we couldn’t effectively run the ball.

  17. I thought Bowen was supposed to be a run stoppage specialist. Guess that aint the case. Also, can DJ spend all week just working on deep balls with our WRs?

  18. Earlier this week I said Slayton is good at his job. I don’t feel that way right now.

I think overall good performance tonight except for: running game and Darius Slayton. Wandale and Leek can’t be the ENTIRE offense. DJ played well. We need the 3rd and 4th and 5th guys to contribute even just anything.

    Defense was totally fine.

  19. A good qb wins games regardless of team deficiencies. Jones is fine but he’s not good enough to win. We are not good enough to win. This team just looks like the least talented team in the league almost every year.

  20. Saw someone say this in the r/nfl thread,

Man, despite playing a good game, Robinson lost the Giants this game twice. You’ve gotta catch that pass on third down. then that long ball at the end is a game winner if he can track that.

  21. Offense just couldn’t get it done. DJ, receiver drops, run blocking turned to cheeks… we had it and it just went to shit. It’s hard to scheme stuff up when your QB can’t throw a deep ball and your players can’t execute. Would’ve liked to see more screens… we ran like 1 and it was beautiful. Get those big dudes in the open and run more screens.

  22. Jones threw well above 80% if you don’t count the drops. We ran 1.1 YPC

Defense played thair ass off. How do we not run the ball better?

Jones needs to go but he played wel and Daboll needs to be fired.

  23. Giants fans out there can choose: you can have Daniel Jones as your quarterback or you can beat the Cowboys when it matters. The last six years have proven beyond a shadow of doubt that can’t have both.

  24. The moral victories in this thread are aggravating. We have a noodle armed QB who didn’t throw a single TD and can’t throw accurately for more than 15-20 yards, put up 26 yards of rushing against the worst running defense in the NFL, WRs not named Malik Nabers with cinder blocks for hands, a defense that can’t tackle or stop runs, a coach who calls a timid ass game AT HOME against one of our rivals, and our star receiver gets a concussion. But, we looked morally victorious and our moms said we’re winners.

  25. Bill Belichick will come full circle and will win a Superbowl as HC of the NY Giants.

Josh McDaniels as OC is going to make Beck look like a star

  26. The reality is we didn’t lose because of Daniel jones (and he’s helped mightily if a few drops were caught) but this has happened too many times to just brush it off as bad luck.

He just isn’t enough of a playmaker. He always takes what’s there, what’s schemed up in the quick game, can get in a rhythm, but this offense has a VERY defined cap to how far you can go.

  27. Need to see the film junkie breakdown, but curious if Bowen made any adjustments to combat Cowboys quick passing game. Didn’t seem like it

  28. Every Dallas first down play seemed like it was 5-8 yard gains. Giants kept getting in 2nd and 3rd in longs. That was the difference in this game if you ask me
