Shoutout to Skip Schumacher for playing for the win even though the game was “meaningless” for the Marlins. Between this game and when he pitched to Ohtani in That Game even though first was open, I have mad respect for him (obviously tonight benefitted me as a fan but I swear I’d feel the same way as a neutral, I promise)

If I had a nickel for every time a KC team needs a floundering Miami team to beat a rival for playoff positioning in the last 5 years, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but weird it’s happened twice
Ready to sweep the Braves and head a little further up the east coast to pick up a couple against the Orioles. While we’re at it head up to New York and steal a couple from the evil empire on our way home to win that last one in front of the fountains at the K as we march into the AL Championship.
God I’ve missed some October baseball!
Can the Orioles just beat them tomorrow so we can save Lugo and Ragans for the wildcard games please
