Penguins Player Grid Day 24: Most Versatile (All Time, Read Caption)

Warren Young was voted as the best one year wonder, who was the most versatile in Penguins history?

Before there’s any questions, what I mean by most versatile is they can score, they can pass, they can play defense, they can block shots, etc

They can kinda do everything lmao

  1. Honestly, it again was probably Mario. Guy was a menace defensively and again an all-time great offensive player. He won face-offs, could score from anywhere, was an incredible passer and amazing on the PP. We discussed how many short handed goals he had so you could put him on the PK as well. Le Magnifique did it all.

  2. It’s Mario again. He was dominant in every phase of the game. 5v5, PP, and PK. He also played wing fairly well later in his career when he simply didn’t have the legs for center anymore. A Jack of all trades if the Jack was also the best at everything he touched

  3. It’s Kris Letang. He plays 25+ minutes a night. 5 on 5, power play and he’s usually on the first penalty kill as well. In the playoffs, he’s playing 30 mins. He even takes an early shot in the shootout.
