  1. Demko is a legit Vezina candidate. Lankinen and Silovs is a good tandem.
Last year Vancouver was always scoring around 3.4 goals per game. They have more scoring depth this year and EP is going to be a big story in the league this year.
The core will show more veteran maturity.
    They are hungry.
Lankinen and Silovs will have the run support and their games will be above the necessary tier.

  2. hot take: Meyers has to drop to the ice because he is getting caught out of position, instead of being on a man or blocking a passing lane.

#2: Sam Besson [buffalo sabers rookie] is going to be a problem for defenses with the way he plays in front of the net. he play's like garland hard till the whistle but when the whistle goes the play is done instantly. I think he will be very disciplined for penalties

  3. as a goalie who lost his chances due to injury……………. this is reverse cory schnieder. recovery v.s. longevity. i could put money down that Demko ( my personal most hyped canuck goalie) goes to market or signs for cheaper to stay.

  4. Pure clickbait. Who gives a boo-hickey what some numbnuts says about not needing Demko. You don't build a 7 minute video around it. Or you do, and lose subscribers.

  5. I think the Canucks will probably finish 4th or 5th in the league, 2 in the division (behind the Oilers). Unless something really bad happens in Edmonton again, or Silovs continues to play like he did in the playoffs, I just don't know if they can catch the Oilers once Demko is back. I'm thinking 53 win Oilers and 50 win Canucks, really close.

  6. I think at least of where this team is, would be close to where the 08-09 team was, maybe 09-10, but goaltending would be the biggest question mark if Demko isn't healthy. I mostly worry that in 7 years from now when we look back will think "we could have had it, if Demko was healthy".
