  1. Tbf, if you go in that thread, OP is getting downvoted left and right, and the majority of the comments call out how absurd an assertion it is or include greater context. Definitely seems like the majority of that thread are not downplaying allen.

  2. Didn’t Lamar throw a pick six after the “concussion?” Clearly it wasn’t a concussion if Lamar was still allowed to play. Do I have my facts wrong?

  3. Btw the ravens fans were actually really respectful and rational about this and didn’t agree with this single guy at all, if you check the post it was actually pretty classy, ravens fans as a whole made themselves look good here

  4. Dang that’s crazy. I had no idea Josh was on the field at the same time as the other team’s quarterbacks.

  5. Ravens definitely have little brother complex when it comes to Allen. He’s a 2 time MVP yet they still keep saying the media is overrating Allen over Lamar.

Supposedly the Bills have beat no one this year but they seem to forget that they lost to Minshew

  6. Seems like there are alot of people with integrity in the Raven’s fanbase. It was fun to read them defending Josh. I like Lamar. He seems like a cool dude but I just love we have Josh at Buffalo.

  7. Props to the Ravens fans shitting on OOP in that thread. If I’m being honest, I don’t think we would stand up for Lamar in here like they are doing for Josh.

  8. For a big, popular franchise like the Ravens, their fans are surprisingly good compared to others

  9. Honestly I like Ravens fans, at least on Reddit, anyway–they’re pretty smart and seem to have fewer jabronis than most fanbases. They’re in there pointing out that this guy is a moron, which is nice. I get that the Lamar hate, mostly coming from the media, gets tiring–most fans think he’s a great QB who is fun to watch. I honestly wanted him more than any of the other QBs in that draft class at the time. The only knock on him is that he tends to play poorly in the playoffs and that he didn’t really deserve the MVP last season over either Allen or CMC. But other players being a bit more deserving doesn’t take anything away from his great play last season, especially against the 49ers (which is probably what won him the MVP as it was such a high-profile matchup). Plus he seems like a really stand-up dude in general. Do I hope that Josh goes into this game with yet another chip on his shoulder? Absolutely. But I don’t think saying that Josh is better is hating on Lamar. Josh does things that hardly anyone else can do, but Lamar is one of the guys who comes really, really close.

  10. Josh is arguably one of the greatest playoff QBs of all time. He will get his.

Meanwhile Lamar won MVP because he had a good defense and mediocre stats.

  11. If Dak can drop 380 passing yards on the ravens, im not worried at all. Run game might be tough to stop, but if this is a shoot out(would we call it that if one team just runs?) The ball can be thrown faster than someone can run with it.

  12. The Bills didn’t make the Ravens forget how to run the ball against the C***fs who got absolutely gashed by the run the week before by the Bills.

  13. There are maybe a select few arguments you could make to put Lamar above Josh, going with playoff success is probably the worst one you could pick lol.

  14. The only time I think you could fairly say Josh Allen choked in the playoffs was the Cincinnati game. The whole team didn’t show up to that one. 13 seconds wasn’t on him. Last year against KC wasn’t his best performance, but KC had a damn good defense and Josh put us in a position to win. If Diggs and Sherfield could have held on to perfectly thrown balls the outcome might have been different. Not to mention we were playing with a defense that was decimated. Give all the circumstances it was a good performance by Josh. Mahomes has laid more eggs in playoff games than Josh has. None of that matters as long as Josh doesn’t have a ring.
