Today is the day
It’s kind of a bummer that the Twins have shit the bed over the last week, which means there really isn’t much of a chance for the Sox to play spoiler here. The Tigers’ magic number is 1, so the only way the Sox could keep them out of the playoffs is if we swept them AND the Twins sweep the Orioles. Not gonna happen.

Chuck Garfien said on today’s white Sox talk podcast that he is very close to signing a deal to do pre and post game shows with the new network. Ryan McGuffy is out tho.
It won’t happen, but the Sox sweeping the Tigers and keeping them out of the playoffs to cap this abysmal season would be an all time great moment and provide an infinite supply of ammo to shit talk Tiger fans with.
At least I can dream it a little longer before reality comes knocking lol.
