Knicks and Timberwolves front offices must be bored to make a move like this. Brunson didn’t take a pay cut for his best friend to get traded like this

This is such a weird trade. I don’t get why the Knicks did this. You’d think they would have liked to run it back to see that squad fully healthy. And it feels like they got worse with this trade.

Very exciting to downgrade from Hartenstein”a D to KATs D. Also allows us to possibly go small and put Siakam on him. I guess the rationale is that KAT doesn’t need the ball in his hands as the primary distributor to be effective.
Meanwhile, Minnesota is hoping that Randle catches fire from 3 again and is OK with a low usage of he’s competing for a title.

On paper I feel like this helps the Knicks but I don’t know if would trust KAT to give the effort and consistent performance he is capable of – I don’t think this makes the Pacers fear the Knicks any more considering how great DiVincenzo has played against us especially.
Didn’t even see what they could do healthy first. Wow. This was one consolidation too many of you ask me. They broke up the Nova core for a guy with questionable basketball IQ and work ethic. If I’m Brunsen I’m furious this is what I took a paycut for.
Knicks just paid a lot to get worse. There just aren’t enough shots in a regular NBA game to make this work.
This is a great trade for the Knicks. Fuck
Pacers in fucking 6. There’s not a single player on that Knicks roster that can hold Pascal. They have no depth.
