8. This is going to be really suspenseful for us in San Diego– the Wild Card series at Petco. We're not accustomed to this kind of thing! I have no idea how the Padres compare to the other seeds in the post-season.
   Obviously there are a couple of giant powerhouses out there– the Dodgers, Yankees, and Phillies.

   I believe the Padres will go as their pitching goes.

9. Thanks to Marte, the Padres had an easy start to the game. Instead of getting out of the first inning with two easy chances, some terrible defense gifted them three runs, lol

18. Machado must still be thinking about that triple play he turned earlier in the week! Good thing they still won the game. The one team I don't want to see in the playoffs is the Phillies. They hammered us when we played them earlier in the year. All the playoff teams are good, just hope we can ride some late momentum.
