Co-Most Valuable Player of the League, Nolan James Arenado, DO YA THING ! In the top of the first inning, the 33-year-old from Newport Beach, California gets the offense rolling by SMASHING an RBI single to left field, driving in Masyn Blaze Winn.
In the top of the third inning, Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar, the 27-year-old from El Segundo, California, DEMOLISHES a bomb to center field! That one landed DEEP in the bay.
What a top of the fourth inning … CHILLS up and down my spine! First, UNDISPUTED Rookie of the Year Award winner Masyn Blaze Winn, the 22-year-old from Katy, Texas BASHES an RBI double to left field, bringing in Michael Siani. Then, Alec Michael Burleson, the 25-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, RIPS an RBI single to right field, scoring Mase. Finally, Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar STAYS SCORCHING with a GODLY RBI triple to center field, letting Burly and Nolan James Arenado head home!!!!
OOH MAMA … a FILTHY #SCTOP10 double play in the bottom of the sixth inning as third baseman Nolan James Arenado FIRED to second baseman Brendan Michael Donovan who then HURLED to first baseman Alec Michael Burleson. That PROVES the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too!
Folks, HOOT and HOLLER for Miles Tice Mikolas, the 36-year-old from Jupiter, Florida. LIZARD KING was FIERCE on that mound in his limited action; FOUR clutch strikeouts! A TIP OF THE FEDORA goes to John Edward King, Andrew Michael Kittredge, Matthew Joseph Liberatore and Ryan Dalton Helsley, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the TOO GOOD FOR WORDS defense.
