  1. Gosh am I so excited and proud and gracious. Full team season from the front office to the coaching to the players. Regardless of what happens, nothing can change that

  2. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  3. The ups and downs of the regular season don’t matter once you’re in the playoffs. Just ask the 2023-24 Chiefs lol. It’s a clean slate and anything can happen. Let’s fucking goooooo.

  4. I dreamed of this when we were having all those 100 loss seasons. It feels so good to be back in the playoffs. Those World Series teams were fun, but it felt like it was over too quick. Hopefully this time they will keep fighting for a playoff spot over the long term.

  5. We keep taking chances, one after another, until we win or the chances are spent. Nine long, grueling years in baseball wilderness (and in some cases, pure-D baseball hell), and we find ourselves back in October baseball.

Doesn’t matter how you get there, long as you get there. Now let’s go see how far we can ride this train.

  6. Braves fan who’s been following y’all the last couple months. I felt terrible to have to root against you guys tonight (but love watching Max Fried do his thing), so I’m thrilled the baseball gods just took care of it anyway. See you in the World Series (also the next two games).

  7. My first playoff experience (through the screen XD) here I comee

  8. Super. I am glad that Missouri didn’t bookend the state with two (2) losers. Keep in mind that I am a transplant from Michigan, so you can consider my opinion as having no skin in the game. On the East of the state Mr. Dewitt needs to clean house and fire Mozeliak & Marmol to start with. I feel terrible for the loyal fans. You gals & guys deserve one hell of a lot better from a storied club like the Cardinals. Do you remember when Schildt was here? When my wife & I watched some of those games, I would tell her that a pitcher change was due somewhere around three batters ago. Schildt was way too late on pitcher changes, that’s why he was such a loser. I did see that Schildt got picked up by the Padre’s (correct me if I am wrong). I did see the talking heads on tv tell us about how well he is doing. Good for him. With Schildt being terminated here and then he goes out west and does relatively well. That tells me that he must have something valuable & should have been kept on the payroll in St. Louis. Now we move to Marmol: he seems lackadaisical & ho hum. He doesn’t come across as having an urgent attitude about winning. I am thinking the players probably play to the potential of the manager & there isn’t a sense of urgency there either. Now we move on to Mozeliak. He seems like a really nice fellow, but what he put together as a team, he needs to answer for & take responsibility of the Cardinals not even making it out of regular season baseball & at least move onto the playoffs or something close to that. The club has some real star power, you know the names, even I know some of the names. I am not sure if terminating Mozeliak & Marmol would be a super motivating act or not. The talking heads on TV & Radio claim that the Cardinals are a 500 or just below a 500 club. That has to be embarrassing for the loyal fan base. To sum up: What the Cardinals have done the last two years is beyond embarrassing. It’s pathetic, at best. A big shakeup should happen after the regular season ends. One other thing that bugs me is “MacLand”. They need to tear that sign down and burn it on the pitchers mound & have a live webcam feed so everyone can watch it burn. As far as I know: MacLand is in reference to mark mcguire and his steroid induced home run record. Not sure why ANYONE would embrace that era or any players associated with the steroid era. I remember when sosa & mcguire were in the race to be the home run king. Before I went out to the shop to work, I put on the tv inside and had it tuned in to the ball game where a home record was to be broken. I was out in the shop working & listening to the radio. Not sure who hit the record breaker home run. When that happened, I rushed inside to see the replay. Me being in Kalamazoo st the time and being tuned into a record breaking game should tell you how invested I was. I am positive that I wasn’t the only one following the home run record run. Look what happened to sosa. He looked like a junkie later in life. McGuire wasn’t any better. mcguire showing up in front of congress and crying about the steroid questions that were asked just shows what a true fucktard that he really was and still is today. Don’t get me started on either one of those two being considered for the hall of fame. MLB should erase anything related to those two & act like they don’t exist.
