Defensive coordinator get paid a lot of money and so do defensive players.
And a lack of off season work and conditioning.
Defenses are too fast
I think we’ve went away from passing first quarterbacks, now every team has has a “Justin fields” type who just packs it down and runs. Tbf there are probably many reasons, defenses have gotten faster, analytics and probably many more, but I believe this is definitely a part of it
Not related but the amount of yellow flags coupled with broken officiating are making the NFL almost unwatchable.
“Hey guys our quarterbacking sucking ass is part of a larger trend.”
