He needs to realize the pressure ain't going anywhere playing with that jersey on. I watched our fans boo our own player live once or twice. If he doesn't like the pressure, he shouldn't be here.
laine unhinged? who saw that coming?
I have no doubt that Laine's gonna find his stride with the Habs. He wants to perform and he will.
I thought they were planning the parade route? This guy couldn’t handle the pressure in Columbus….
Hay you do need time for your life! Also you can get back in to it before the Opening Game and that is what important ! And We don't pay your Bills ! Thanks again for your time and video! You do a Great job! Also We all will be here when you come back on ! JimS thanks! Go Habs Go
Can you imagine that some people thought he should go number 1 instead of Matthews?
Good luck buddy 🤣 Plan the parade 🚌
Sounds like sad boy Pat is still alive and well. He might need to abandon his team yet again and hide in his house for a few months during the season.
Everyone said Winnipeg was ruined liane. Maybe Winnipeg was the best thing for him. Second line, no pressure with good defence and he was the shooter on the PP giving him confidence.
Guy smelled entitled from day 1 hope im proven wrong
I would rather him not be satisfied with his recent play then satisfied 🤷🏻♂️
This is SUCH a negative take from TVA Sports (and a big part of why Montreal's sports medias is being criticized by many). If this was say Slafkovsky, they would be approaching it more like: "Look, he wants to do well so badly" and how you love to see this level of emotions from a player during training camp, and blah blah blah. Seems like some medias have already found their whipping boys for the year; it'll be Laine and Mailloux.
It's hilarious that almost every Habs fan thought trading for him was a good idea.
People when they see the headline, thinking it's a bad thing that professional athletes want to perform: "oMg I tOlD iT wAs a BaD iDeA tO AcqUiRE hIM". Lmao. Laine has shown a GREAT attitude so far and it's clear he puts a lot of pressure on himself. Everything he has shown so far is positive. Frustration just shows how much he wants to do well, it's a good thing. He's been going to the practices before everyone else these last days too, training by himself. Rooting for him.
not surprised, he's a total man baby lol
EASY:
good positive behavior : frustration, then keep practicing
bad negative behavior: frustration, then unlacing your skates
Suzuki next
Everyone chill. Laine wants to perform at a high level and do well for the team. So it’s ok that he gets frustrated when he feels like he’s performing below his expectations.
Ridiculous. Toxic media. Garbage
Well… that was fast
Recovery takes years notv Months, in ways it takes a like time. Most don't make it. Hope it works out for him in hockey but in life.
Chill pill time for fans. Whack a stick is unheard of? He's a professional athlete, so let him play/ practice and then we'll see if he's working out in Montreal.
Laine will score 7 goals tonight
Laine must not let frustration take over his game play. Just believe in himself and let good things happen.
This is a lot less concerning than Hellebuyck letting in 8 goals yesterday. At least Laine knows that he can be put on the 4th line or sat if he doesn't perform. Winnipeg has ignored Helle's play all the way to the golf course.
Wow, I was giving the MTL media at LEAST 1 game into the real season before making fools of themselves.
