  1. How many losses before Eberflus is on the hot seat?

But who am I kidding they’ll fire him and then hire like Steve Wilks or some random

  2. This is a must win. For both teams. Caleb gonna ball out I feel it. I hope we run Herbert/Rojo more. Allen, if actually healthy, will be a great second option for Caleb. Let’s get Kmet involved more on the seams like last game.

We can pick apart this Rams defense. Just please.. no more Swift on goaline runs and no more screens on 3rd and long…

  3. I solemnly swear I will not call for any firings until at least halfway through the second quarter…

  4. I was hoping that we would be in the playoff hunt in December. Seemed like that was going to be the new standard. 3 games in and we’re 2 improbable touchdowns away from being winless. Life comes at you fast.

  5. omg Caleb for a second straight 300yd game and with 3 TD throwing and 1 rushing and Bears win 38-19!!!

  6. this has all the markings of one of those blow outs we get a couple of times a season. Usually from a west coast team.

  7. Whoever loses this game between this team their season is basically over. If the bears hope to have any chance at the playoffs a 1-3 hole in this division is basically a death sentence

  8. Just looking for more progress from Caleb and some improvement from play calling. If we do those 2 things we will win

  9. I would love to draft one of these RBs for Ohio State next year… maybe Henderson’s injury concerns will cause him to fall and we can get him in the 3rd/4th…

They not only run excellently, but they block like absolute monsters on passing plays. Watching them versus Swift is honestly a shocking comparison

  10. I will douse myself in gasoline and light myself on fire if I have to watch Swift run it down the gut 10 times for 6 yards

  11. Being glass half full, even with a loss tomorrow I think wins over the Panthers at home and against the Jags in London are very possible and can still get to the bye 3-3.

  12. I’m going to choose optimism. Defense dominates, run game improves, and caleb has a 90-ish QBR game that gives us a 5 point win.

It pretty much comes down to if our offense can generate 3 TDs and about 24-ish points. If they can do that, I think we can win this game. I don’t think we can win unless the run game is much improved.

  13. Inside the 10 yard line I just want to see one play action bootleg and or a rub route.. please

  14. The new pregame ritual. What is something good everyone did today?

I got 4 bulls-eyes on my Eberflus picture dartboard today

  15. All I have to say about this game is we need to get the run game going. Thank God Aaron Donald retired so our RBs beside Swift has a chance of breaking out.

  16. I’ll put the over/under on sacks allowed this week at 4.5. Very hard to watch yet another rookie qb try to survive with yet another awful o-line. Feel like we’ve tried this recipe before 😔.

  17. Rams fan here to offer a positional preview:

QB: Mathew Stafford, #9. Absolute baller. This is easily the smartest he’s ever played. He’s fantastic when pressure comes up the middle, because he can ID it and has the arm strength to throw 30 yards without stepping. Struggles more on pressure from the edges.

HB: Kyren Williams, #23, is the starter. Not particularly elusive, but given the slightest hole he will get 6-10 yards consistently. Maybe the best goalline back in the league. Is a somewhat capable receiving threat. (#2) Ronnie rivers. More athletic than Kyren but doesn’t have the vision or tenacity. (#3) Blake Corum. Rams are notorious for not starting rookies until the second half of the year unless they are rounds 1-2. Most likely non factor, but he has the most home-run ability of the bunch.

WR: (1) Demarcus Robinson, #15. Serviceable WR3 who can make some nice catches when needed. Nothing exceptional. (2) Tutu Atwell, #5. Biggest threat of the room. Can easily outrun the defense for big gains and is nice after the catch with space. Not great hands and can get bullied by a press corner. (3) Tyler Johnson, #18. Athletic slot receiver who is fantastic after the catch and can break ankles. Not an exceptional route runner or catcher. (4) Jordan Whittington, #88. Not very polished, but a lot of upside and a tremendous blocker. (5) Xavier smith, #19 very undersized but shifty and can make nice catches.

TE: (1) Colby Parkinson, #86. Essentially a big slot with tremendous upside and a respectable blocker. Has drop issues. (2) Davis Allen. Home run play maker who struggles with consistency and cannot block.

LT: Alaric Jackson, #77. Insanely underrated. Has locked Myles Garrett in the past and last week beat Nick Bosa. Not a great run blocker.

LG: Jonah Jackson, #72. Really good run blocker, subpar pass blocker.

C: Beaux Limmer, #50. Late round rookie dubbed as a steal. Thrusted into starting position and has played admirably, if not exceptionally.

RG: Kevin Dotson, #69 (nice). Top 5 guard when healthy but has been dealing with some injuries

RT: Rob Havenstein, #79. Last rams player from St. Louis. Old reliable, great run blocker, fine pass blocker.

    Defense (base: 3-4)

Strong Side Linebacker: Jared Verse, #8. Khalil Mack-like power and general athleticism when rushing the passer, gave Trent Williams a run for his money. 2nd in rookie pressures. Should have 6 sacks rn but he really struggles at pursuit angles and tackling in general.

Weak Side Linebacker: (1) Byron Young, #0. Exceptional athlete who can cover well. Decent pass rusher especially against slow guards, but horrendous in the run game. (2) Michael Hoecht, #97. Former DT. Great pass rusher, meh run defender.

Mike: Troy Reeder, #51. Was probably the wordy player on the team in 2021, but has taken strides. Makes big hits but bad in coverage.

Ted: Christian Rozeboom, #57. Respectfully, bad.

LDE: Braden Fiske, #55. Leads all rookies in pressures and is second in rookie pressure % to Latu. A monster against bigger, slower guards. Absolute SHIT against the run though.

RDE: Kobie Turner, #91. Heart and soul of the defense. Good pass rusher, decent run defender, awesome person, even better singer.

NT: Bobby Brown III, #95. Had high hopes entering season but is not it.

CB: (1) Darious Williams, #11. (? — potentially injured.) when healthy, a smart zone ball hawk. (2) Tre White, #27. Was fine last week but clearly washed. (3) Cobie Durant, #14. Usually the slot. Very athletic, home run player.

FS: (1) Quinten Lake, #37. Serviceable player in all aspects. (2) Kam Kinchens, #26. Rough rookie but plays tough and reportedly can make plays on the ball.

SS: Kam Curl, #3. Best run defender in the secondary. Fine coverage guy.

    Special teams:

    K: Joshua Karty. Franchise kicker

P: Ethan Evans. Has a super weapon punt that supposedly makes it way harder to catch.

    KR: I honestly don’t know. I don’t think we’ve returned a kickoff yet.

PR: Xavier Smith, #19. Has only touched the ball once, and it was a ~30 yard punt return last week that set up a win.
