It’s hilarious how per /r/NFL Chase is just an above average WR who never gets open and had bad stats (in the same timeframe, Chase has 5 more TD’s through 50 fewer targets than Jefferson)
It’s true, though, it would be nice to hear him talk after a win.

Meh. I kind of wish he had more self awareness. Love the dude but he brings it on himself. It’s okay to be critical of our own players sometimes.
I just want chase to not talk for the rest of the season
He’s gonna end up leaving. He ain’t trying to play for a 5-12 team unless he getting make it worth it money.
I hope he does leave, we do not need him.

I’m not a fan of all the public trash-talking and “feuding” in general, more of a “just handle your business and win or lose with class” kind of guy, but I understand not everyone is like that. For some players, it motivates them, helps them light the fire in themselves, whatever. …But you’d think Chase would learn after doing the “talk trash and then not back it up and lose” routine multiple times. Do it once and humiliate yourself, and the Bengals as a whole? Well, people make mistakes. But *keep on* doing it and having the same thing happen every time? C’mon, man.

People always say they are all for players doing what they gotta do to get paid until they actually hold out and it hurts their fantasy teams
