Nhl today – Some awful news out of montreal in the preseason game between the montreal canadiens vs toronto maple leafs as patrik laine went down after a knee with cedric pare and not only for habs fans and potential montreal canadiens highlights and goals this 2024-25 season but for hockey fans in general this is extremely disappointing and you desperately hope it’s not a season ender. arber xhekaj came to his defense and juraj slafkovsky dropped em too but man habs leafs is gonna have even more intensity and I for one am still holding out hope that this patrik laine injury won’t be as serious as initially concerned. We will see what the Habs are made of on October 9. If they go after the Leafs stars there is hope. And don't go after losers like Pare. I doubt he will make the cut.

Pre-season or game 2 of the regular season: you never want to see this kind of thing to any player on any team.

As a habs fan this crushes me but I also just feel terrible for Laine. Guy just wanted a fresh start and now he may be out for a season. Gotta hope he can stay strong through all this.

That whole game was just incredibly stupid. Fingers crossed but it doesn't look good. As a Habs fan, I feel completely deflated.
