David Legwand was drafted 2nd overall by the Nashville Predators in 1998. The first ever drafted pick in Nashville Predators history, Legwand would play for 15 years in Nashville before being traded to the Detroit Red Wings for Patrick Eaves, Calle Järnkrok, and a 2014 conditional pick. When he left the Preds, he would leave as the franchise's all-time leader in all offensive categories and games played, with 956 appearances. On December 23rd, 2000, Legwand became the first NHL player to score on a penalty shot in overtime.

In those 956 appearances, he would score 210 goals and tally 356 assists for a total of 566 points. In total, Legwand would play 1,136 games in the NHL, scoring 228 goals and tallying 390 assists for a total of 618 points. He is currently a co-owner of the Sarnia Sting with Derian Hatcher.

Cody Hodgson was drafted 10th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 2008. He played 39 games for Nashville, scoring 3 goals and 5 assists.

Reid Boucher was drafted 99th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2011. He played 3 games for the Preds, scoring a goal.

P.A. Parenteau was drafted 264th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2001. He played 8 games for Nashville, tallying 1 assist.
