Yes, we won. I know people are going to call me a downer because they’re probably very excited about the win, but Bobby Slowik and Chris Strausser should be called out by McNair and DeMeco for underperforming. This lack of discipline is unacceptable.
Instead of posting in the GDT I wrote all of my comments on this game on a piece of paper.
That paper will never see the light of day again.
Nico, CJ, Ogunbowale, defense we cool! Fucks LT and Sims.
Holy fuck that was hideous
NICO COLLINS IS LEGITIMATELY A TOP 3 RECEIVER. HE IS HIM AND WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM.
Time to unclench
Houston
Still lots to clean up but today enjoy being 3-1.
Get Sims of this team
##Coleridge Bernard Stroud IV is HIM
#CJ Stroud … that’s it
#DOESN’T MATTER BRIAN, 3-1 Brian!
Flags are going to be the demise of this team. Said it needs to be clean up week in and week out. 10+ penalties in 3 straight weeks is not going to cut against the top teams. Got the W here but DeMeco needs to punish this team through benching, griping, or whatever it takes. Understand he’s a player’s coach but this has been inexcusable.
Jaguars playcalling on that 2nd to last drive saved us. They barely used up any clock on that.
We are our own worst enemies. Way too many penalties
IF YOU DON’T LIKE THAT YOU DON’T LIKE AFC SOUTH FOOTBALL
can someone explain why that wasn’t a safety?
Good
– Looked better than last week. Not great, but ok
Bad
– Playing like this, against arguably one of the worst teams in the league
– Still plagued by penalties
– Stupid mistake (muffing punt reception) gave them the ball inside the 10 and led to a TD
– flags, flags, flags, flags, flags
Sims and Tunsil continue to be an active detriment to the team. What’s the point in preventing pressures and sacks if you accumulate more penalty yardage than you’d give up with those anyway?
How we do against the Bills next week will define our season.
this game was too stressful for no good reason.
an embarrassingly close win is better than no win i guess 😭
The least deserved win ever. But if we can be this fucking ass and still win, at least the jags sucks harder and that feels good.
Why is that not a safety? I had Texans beating the spread at 5.5…
Different type of hurt & freedom to realize this ain’t a Super Bowl team. Player coaches are cool n all but having the most undisciplined oline in the league wack af.
I never knew I had hate in my heart until Slowick came into my life. Win is win!
DOESN’T MATTER BRIAN
WE GET MIXON, TANK, HARRIS, WARD BACK SOON BRIAN
God damn that was terrible
I’ll see you all next weekend lol

Thank god for Nico Collins and CJ Stroud and that’s about it
We are so mid bro lol
Oh we’re so cooked next week if they trot this same team back out there
Defense and stroud won us this game. We are going to get destroyed next week. I have no faith in this o-line
Jags sold more than we won, without CJ we’re a sub 500 team
Maybe I’m crazy but I feel like we should be getting more than 24 points for going almost 450 yards.

Say what you want about our Defense, but both this game and against the Bears they got some seriously clutch stops
We are killing ourselves with these penalties. Slowik has no preparation for any kind of blitz. We don’t ever mix in any kind of blitzes when our d line is getting no pressure. Our secondary is playing so bad in the intermediate and long game.
I know I sound like I’m dooming all over the place. But we’re still 3-1 after playing like this basically every game. The reason this upsets me so bad is because if we are still winning games with these problems, it’s obvious what we’re capable of if we can just clean some of this shit up.
REGARDLESS FTJ AND WE’RE THE UNDISPUTED KINGS OF SHIT MOUNTAIN
Seems like every season.. Dare comes thru! This was one of those games

My conflicted soul after this win
Happy for the win, being 3-1 is a great feeling.
But ~~high~~lowkey, I really want our o line coach fired and Sims to benched… I *almost* feel bad for Jags fans cause this was not a game we should’ve won the way we played.
Also, **NICO COLLINS IS A TOP 3 WR!!** That contract extension was a fucking steal
If you don’t like stressful games, high blood pressure, and losing 3 years off of your life from stress weekly, then you don’t like Texans football
What if the NFL is scripted and they’re getting all of our penalties out of the way early so that they can call less in the big games. Then at the end of the season it looks like we had a normal amount of penalties called. This is me putting on my optimist tin foil hat.
Thank God for CJ, nico, diggs, and dare. We did not deserve to win
Richardson Williams and now Lawrence easily the bottom tier QBs have looked elite or best games vs Texans horrid defense. They still make dumb easily fixable penalties and if Lawrence could hit a wide open WR they would have easily scored 2 more Tds most like 3. Next week comes the Bills which they will face their first elite QB of the season. Expect Allen to have at least 4/5 total TDs. They are rightfully already favored at Texans.
