  1. OL cost us this game. What a terrible performance by those guys, hope our starters recover fast.

  2. These QB-C exchanges are fucking absymal. Idgaf who it is on, but how much it happens is fucking appalling

  3. Bad:

    – DL pressure. There was none. All week we hear how we will feast against that line and not a thing happened.

    – DL/LB getting stuck in blocks. Mentioned it with Queen but just got blown up with no chance. Indy complete controlled the LOS

    – OL. I know it’s a makeshift line at this point but whew. Allowed constant pressure and did nothing to help the ground game.

    – Arthur smith. Play action sucked, just not fooling anybody. The run calls on 1st and 2nd longs gave me heartburn. Just no creativity at all and constant struggle.

    Good:

    – Patterson. Dude looked explosive and just shot out a cannon. And then gets hurt because why not

    – Elliot. Coverage, run support, you name it he was there. Really good game and an awesome addition to this d

    – Jf2. Yeah I know, he started slow and made mistakes but he is fucking electric.

Overall, just was not ready today- saw it on the first drive where we got punched right in the mouth. All day we just look confused on both sides of the ball: blown assignments, confusion getting set, lots of players arguing with each other after the play- just completely unprepared today and everything went wrong. But man did we sure turn things on and goddamn was it fun.

The good news is that it’s 1 game. No need for doom and gloom, there’s lots of ball left but got to clean some stuff up. On to Dallas

  4. I don’t even know what to say man. It’s the hope that kills. We should’ve taken the 58 yard FG try at the beginning

  5. Mistakes is what lost us this game. We actually looked good in the second half, but dropped passes, fumbles and fucky snaps is the reason we lost to a team we really should have beaten today.

  6. Too many small errors cost us this game. Frazier better be spending a few extra hours working on the silent count after practice. I get he’s a rookie but it’s completely inexcusable to consistently have these snap issues.

  7. Fields didn’t play a perfect game but that was absolutely a QB1 effort. He deserved a better outcome

  8. I literally don’t know whether to blame the offense or defense… Obviously there were a ton of offensive fuckups but the defense let a 39 year old Joe Flacco carve them up and gave up points on the first three drives

I’ve never felt worse about the Steelers after a 3pt loss

  9. Sometimes the better team loses. That’s football.

Also I’ll go ahead and take all the blame. I decided to watch the game at the sports bar instead of watching it at home.

  10. Pickens doesn’t fumble the ball we win this game. Refs hurt us but this was a winnable game. Learn from this one and move on to Dallas next week.

  11. I disagree with the announcers. I’d call time out. You would have about 45 seconds. That’s plenty of time to get 2 plays inbounds with spikes. You could even work the sidelines if you get the first down.

  12. To sum it up:

    First Half:

    Offense – Sucked

    Defense – Sucked

    Second Half:

Offense – Good (Thank you JF2)

    Defense – Sucked

    Please learn to tackle

  13. Got into a huge hole early and just never able to dig themselves out of it.

Fields showed he has what it takes to be the starter long term, but the entire team left a lot to be desired today.

  14. Immediate thoughts

-Take the collar off Justin. He needs to be able to play his game if we want to score points. We saw it in the second half when our hand was forced

-Third down defense. Holy fuck. Fix it. Throw the zone coverage in the fucking trash.

-OL play. Holy fuck. Fix it.

-Did TJ have a single tackle today?

  15. Najee Harris should be ashamed of himself Cordelle Patterson was running through that defense and at one point Najee was ave 1 YPC.Defense needs to be better but at the same time you cant do shit on offense until the end of the half and expect to win games. Defense carried us for 3 games it shouldn’t be a crime for your offense to pick up the slack for a game Doesnt matter who’s at QB you need another receiver even if you have to overpay.

  16. On a day that was CLEARLY not ours, we kinda almost came back. I’ll take it. Justin Fields believer here.

  17. 1. Frazier has snapped the ball before Fields was ready at least once a game and it’s abysmal. Simple fundamentals. I get he’s a rookie but that cannot happen on a regular basis. Offensive line was garbage and it showed, Jones is looking worse each game and on at least two different plays missed assignments and tried blocking a defender that was already blocked.

    2. Fields is the starter. Full stop. He was the only reason we were kept in this game, and as far as I’m concerned it was without a turnover since that fumble shouldn’t have been a fumble. 312 yards passing, an absolute dot to Pickens downfield, two rushing touchdowns and one passing. Kid fought tooth and nail and was let down by his teammates.

    3. No fucking clue what’s going on with Roman Wilson but he needs to be played and we need more WR depth. What we have out there isn’t fucking doing it at all. Injuries are killing us, we need Highsmith and Seumalo back desperately and honestly I wouldn’t be opposed to Patterson being the RB1 if he’s healthy until Najee shakes off whatever the fuck is going on with him because that was some of the worst running game I’ve seen in a while.
