Would it vindicate Russ in the eyes of not only fans but all media circles especially if he were to win with Jokic and Murray? I know I definitely wanna see Russ get a ring before he retires and calls it a career

Yes it would vindicate him. It would prove that he was actually capable of contributing to winning.

I know my bias is heavily skewed as a Thunder fan, but I believe he’s on the short list of the 2 or 3 best active players to never win a ring, and probably close to if not firmly in the top 10 ever without one. The metrics make it look sloppy, and it was, but peak Russ was just one of those eye test things. I believe he’s already a HoF lock but a ring would make it a forgone conclusion. If we don’t win the West this year I’d love to see yall go get Russ that hardware
