  3. The Vikings are not winning ball games “the hard way”. They’re dominating and blowing teams out. And Sam Darnold was not brought in to be the backup to JJ McCarthy. He was brought in to start this season so McCarthy could sit for a year and learn before becoming the starter. NFL “analysts” are not very bright. Nor insightful.

  7. It drives me crazy to hear people claim this team was sooooo unlikely. If you payed any attention to this team you would have known they were significantly better than the “experts” projected. Its insane that so many people are shocked lmao.

  11. Pre season prediction by so called ''expert'' or pundits and win prediction by LV mean absolutely nothing from moment season kicks off and games are actually played… Vikings are showing they are real and the national media jabronis talking football on tv know nothing about ball! SKOL

  13. The only reason the final score was 31-29 ; 
    the Vikings coaching staff wanted to get Aaron Jones a couple of touchdowns.
    If the Vikings would have "just played" in the second half ;  
    this game could have been an embarrassing blowout !!!

As a Vikes fan, i would say 70% of the fan base thought Darnold would do much better than the pundits thought he would do mostly because of coaching and having great weapons behind him and good OL.He didn't have to be a top 5 QB for them to be contenders. I think people were more questioning the defense (they started slow defensively last year under Flores) and the free agent signing were nice but not anything outrageous but as we are learning the 2nd year in this defense has helped some of the veterans and the additions certainly were added more on how they fit this defense than their reputations. I think they have a good chance to be one of the top 3 in the NFC and will be a hard out for anyone.

  17. Kyle threw all kinds of shade onto the Vikings by placing Washington over Minnesota due to Jayden. Dude! Washington has a loss, and Minnesota does not. Look at who Minnesota beat and look who Washington beat? No, dude! Minnesota will crush that rookie. You heard it here first, Vikings hater. Combined record of the teams Washigton beat 3-9. Are you kidding me!

  25. Seeing a lot of revisionist history in the comments, "Darnold was always going to start," "Darnold was brought in to start so JJ could spend a year on the bench." No, he was not. Darnold was brought in before the draft, when the Vikings did not have a starting caliber QB. They had to get someone (what if they missed out in the draft?). Then, they drafted JJ McCarthy, McCarthy competed with Darnold for the starting position, and Darnold won (because McCarthy was/is pretty bad, as far as the tape goes). It was not a Darnold-starts-McCarthy-clipboards from the start by design; this was a position that Darnold earned, as he is straight up better than McCarthy.

  37. Lifelong Vikings fan here waiting for the other shoe to drop. The Vikes have exceeded expectations this year playing against the best of the NFL. My concern is that once they get to teams that they are expected to beat then they will start laying eggs. We'll see if they can keep the energy up even when they are playing lesser teams.

  38. If you told me at the beginning of preseason that the vikes would go 16-1 this season and asked where I thought their 1 loss would come from, I’d probably have said away at GB. W

  41. The first dude didnt watch the game. Im a vikings fan and after game 1 and 2 i seen them going undefeated. The schedule is easy from here on out. Minus the lions game in Detroit.

  42. Yes… it's so unlikely, because a bunch of jock sniffing morons didn't think the Vikings would be so good. I mean… when I heard that "Vegas", and the genius football mind Peter Schrager didn't think the Vikings were going to be any good this season, I seriously considered not even watching them this season. When are these dipshits going to stop saying Darnold was brought in as a backup? HE WAS THE STARTER FROM DAY ONE. HE WAS GOING TO BE THE STARTER WEEK ONE ALL ALONG.

  43. Darnold was always going to be our starter. That lets you know that nobody was paying attention to us and I love it. I want them to keep sleeping on us.

  44. I LOVE seeing Isaiah on the show! He was a favorite of mine when he played and am so happy to see him still grinding with the best in his career after playing! Keep it up man!
