  1. My bold prediction is that Klay breaks the single game record for threes in a game.

He’s going to get consistently open looks in the first quarter of every game. He’ll make 5+ threes in the 1st quarter of one game, another few in the 2nd quarter, and then it’ll be on in the second half.

I don’t think people realize how insane it is that one of the best shooters ever is now playing alongside Luka Doncic. I’m skeptical of other aspects of Klay’s fit in Dallas but he’s absolutely going to have at least a couple of WTF level shooting displays early on this year.

  2. Still feels surreal.

Imagine telling a Mavs fan 2 years ago that we’d have Kyrie, Klay, and not one, but two great centers.

  3. Hey y’all!

I’m not a huge basketball fan, mainly a baseball guy. But I’m gonna try and get into basketball and hockey now that the Rangers season is over and I’m of course gonna root for the Mavs and Stars.

    Quick question about Klay.

What tf happened to him in California? I see clips of him on twitter and it sounds like the man was traumatized and hated basketball. He brings up how he was feeling 1-2 years ago and just sounds down bad.

He seems super upbeat and positive now that he’s in Dallas which is really cool to see.

  4. Sorry, this makes me sick. I’ve been stalking y’all’s page since the trade and I want to be supportive of Klay, but it still hurts deep inside.

  5. When Klay is on the floor with both Kyrie and Luka, he is going to get so many open looks. Even when its only him and Luka/Kyrie on the floor, he will get some great passes in the corner.

  6. The most underrated talking point of this acquisition is going to be the synergy between Klay and Lively/Gafford. I watched some Warriors games last year and noticed that Klay was very effective when he had a rim-running center. I forget the guys name, but GSW had a very solid rookie that was doing work in the paint. That led to some great open shots for Klay and excellent passing from him.
