  1. His body language was trash. You could see how tuned out and isolated he was last season.

There’s a reason the Clippers said ‘bye bye’. If they wanted him, they would’ve found a way to make it all work (IMHO).

  2. PG is a locker room nightmare. People thing him and Joel will pan out or that PG will accept that he’s the third option.

  3. PG’s game at this point is overrated

Sure he’ll have a game or small stretch where he hits 6-7+ threes in a game

But then disappears entirely from the offense.

It honestly never really made sense why kawhi would want to have the team gutted in order to get PG. another iso wing is not what they needed

My tin foil hat theory is that there were actually better, more complimentary players to kawhi’s game and the clippers had to “settle” for PG because that’s the best they could do, and then overpaid like crazy

I used to but no longer subscribe to the narrative that the overpay for Paul was in order to get kawhi too. If that’s true then both kawhi and the clippers are morons for picking PG. kawhi, if he said to the clippers “I only want PG, nobody else” then he’s a lot less smart than anyone thinks he is cause the PG experiment did NOT work
