  1. I can accept price gauging on beer, I always thought they should sell water at a reasonable price. This is nice to see

  2. Are beers still $20? Actually… we’re talking about Utah… will they *even serve beer* at their games?

  3. It’s kinda like how drug dealers work. Once folks are addicted to the team, those nachos will be $12 🙂

  4. Two dollars for water is how it should be at every game. No reason why families should be shelling out $7 a bottle so little Johnny doesn’t choke on his popcorn and hotdog.

  5. I recently stayed at a backcountry lodge where all the food and drinks had to be flown in by helicopter. I also recently went to a Flames preseason game. The beer that had to be flown into the backcountry by helicopter cost half of what the beer at the Saddledome cost.

  6. I have a feeling they’ll stay like this for this season to get people into the stadiums for the team they get comfortable w people in the doors prices probably go up. Next season will be more expensive likely

  7. Taking a page from the Atlanta Falcons.
Soft drinks are two dollars with unlimited refills through the fourth quarter

  8. Every other events venue should take notice. These prices are still going to turn a profit and might even incentivize more sales

  9. Is this SLC? Even airport food/drink prices are cheap in SLC. I believe there were 4 breweries in the airport with nothing over $7 last year when I went through there. I got a sandwich and a beer in an airport for like $20. Simply unheard of at any other airport I’ve been to.

  10. If you added all of those items together you still couldn’t buy a beer or hot dog at most arenas.

  11. The fact water being $2 is considered friendly is a sad state of affairs but good on the Utah Owners.

Personally I always find where the water fountains are and go to those after every period.

  12. I went to the Oilers/Seattle game Saturday.

    1 popcorn.

    1 bag of Twizzlers

    2 regular pops.

    ***$43.00***

But it was a great game for me and my son. We had our Hansen Brother jerseys on and heckled Tanev every chance we could.

  13. its getting increasingly hard for me to hate them… i fear sometime soon i may even… *like* them.

  14. This is a great move to win new fans and get butts in seats, however I wonder how long this is going to last. Concessions are a huge racket. Prices are out of control.
