I’d love to see Gauthier do well. I hope he nabs a spot.
We have a couple guys that I really want to see get a spot, but too few spots remain. Gauthier is one of those guys
Yeah, people will run with him sitting to fuel the “Awful contract, Lou sucks” narrative but it was pretty easy to detect this reasoning. I’d assume we see Engvall and Foudy in Friday for Holmstrom and Gauthier.
Engvall stinks

I think Gauthier will play as a “last chance/audition” for that 12/13F spot, but if he doesn’t perform then the decision is pretty to slot in Engvall in a similar role.
Really not looking forward to 6 more years of Engvall
Engvalls gonna do his cool shit, and he’s also gonna do his dumb shit that turns Roy bright red, but he’ll probably put up 20-30 points during the course of the season and honestly that’s fine with his contract.
