Quick weather clarification from the PNW…..

Broncos fan checking in from Eugene OR with a quick point of clarification. I have read several comments about Bo Nix throwing the ball in the rain along the lines of "It rains all the time in Oregon!". While this is true for much of the year, it doesn't actually "rain" much. Most places west of the Cascade mountains has a steady mist seemingly 24-7 from November through April. What happened in New York Sunday is pretty rare up here. Also, Oregon has a pretty nice indoor practice facility the Ducks use quite a bit.

Ironically, Bo did grow up in Alabama so I would imagine the deep south has some major drenching rain events. But its not the norm up here.

Incidentally, I came back to visit my old neighborhood in Denver last summer and my elementary school has been turned into "modern lofts". That was a depressing surprise 🙁

Go Broncos!

  1. Oh, I bought my house around the time that Stevens conversion happened and I looked at a couple of units there. In the end, the layout of the rooms tended to be kinda weird and one of the units had almost no daylight reaching the windows. Great location, though.

  2. I’ve discovered after many years, people on Reddit have zero problem talking about places they don’t live and have never been to.

  3. As someone from Oregon, it’s not wet rain. Most of us wear hoodies in the rain that’s hot light the rain is, just just pretty non stop for 7 months a year.
