Hopefully a chain reaction….
I would love to know why they didn’t do this 1-2 years ago when it was obvious to everyone he needed to go. Who knows how many players development has been stunted or haulted altogether by his approach. Because they waited this long, now other people need to go too. Like Cherington and Shelton who stood behind him and doubled down.
Shelton next, please.
Derek Shelton volunteers to take on the responsinbilities of the departing Haines and Message, saying ‘I’m not doing anything else anyway’
Keep going… I’m almost there….
Thank fucking God. Haines should’ve been gone before this year. Over 1,500 strikeouts this season shouldn’t be ignored
Wow thank god
I feel bad for whoever is stupid enough to get Haines next.
This is great news. The Pirates’ own Matt Canada of sorts.
That’s a start!
Wrong guy for the job in Pittsburgh but a really good guy otherwise. I’m happy he isn’t here anymore but I really hope he gets anothet job in professional or colligate baseball
