He can’t create his own shot and is small. DiVi is bigger and can do everything. Unless he take a huge leap, he’s going to loose minutes to Payne and be traded for center help
I’m backing Deuce all the way, he’s stepped up and shown he can make an impact in the playoffs.
I think we def try and make moves to get another wing / shooter to help support on the cheap though. This is not the final roster. Teams will be asking about Deuce.. Hope we can keep him
Can’t compare the two players. Donte is a special player man.
Had an outstanding season last year. Knows his role and wins at it. Word is he works hard for results, so this year he’ll show growth again.
I guarantee he’s munching Kolek in practice, too.
Leon only trades DiVo because of his faith in Duece’s potential. That, plus Duece is younger and on a much cheaper contract. I can easily see Duece replicating 80% of Donte’s production.
I’d argue that DiVo would struggle to be the player he was last year since his role was fated to be reduced because of the Mikal. At least in Minnesota, Ragu has a chance to get big mins and build off of last year’s success.
I loved divo but damn is it refreshing to sell high for once. if anything it’s just another feather in the FOs cap. Think of how many guys have had career seasons after coming to the knicks recently. not a coincidence

That was what I kept spamming the other day when the KAT news dropped. Deuce will play the Divo role next season and he’ll play it well. Full confidence there. There are no what ifs. He will be good.
Celtics fans are trying to say Lonnie Walker is just as good. He’s not even close.
Deuce is legit and the great thing is he now has a chance to step up.
Him showing up last year made this deal possible.
He doesn’t have Divo’s superhuman instincts, but the rest is pretty close.
