11 years ago today, magic happened on the North Shore

It's hard to believe that it's been 11 years since playoff baseball debuted at PNC Park. There aren't many days that I remember every single detail about, but my wedding day, and the day of the 2013 NL Wild Card Game are 2 that every single moment is ingrained into my memory. So, this was an incredibly frustrating season, so let's reflect on happier times. I want to know what you remember about that day in 2013, and where you were watching that game.

  1. I was lucky enough to be in attendance that night. The energy surrounding the ballpark prior to the game was palpable. All of the Johnny Cueto talk leading up to the game about how he always had success against the pirates or how the crowd may not be a factor since he has pitched in Dominican leagues. But that night was different and you could feel it. Truly a special night and hopefully see some postseason baseball there soon.

  2. I lost my voice that night. We collectively as a society made Cueto drop that ball. I have never felt that energy in the stadium since. Not even the first Ohtani atbat against SKENES.

  3. They say if you stand in the main concourse and the wind blows in just the right direction, you can still hear the echoes of “Cuetoooooo….Cuetooooooo…”

  4. Unfortunately Nutbag is too damn stupid to realize how much money a winning team would make him
